Abstract
There are very few studies on the nutritional quality, especially the energy value of different varieties. Yet where bajra is the staple, it would constitute the major source of both protein and energy. The protein and calorie content of bajra samples received from the All-India Coordinated Millets Improvement Project are reported in this study.
